Founded
in 1921, Komatsu began manufacturing forklifts in 1945. They
quickly developed a reputation throughout the Pacific Rim for
solid, dependable and innovative designs. In 1976 Komatsu
brought that reputation to the U.S. market and in 1987, began
manufacturing a full line of electric, gasoline, LPG, and diesel forklifts from 3,000 lbs. to more than 55,000 lbs.
Virtually all of their product line is now designed and
manufactured by American workers in their plant in Covington,
Georgia, which has been their corporate headquarters since 1995. |
